Ozzy Osbourne – Blizzard of Ozz (1980)

This was Ozzy’s debut solo album after leaving Black Sabbath. Listen to the legendary guitarist Randy Rhodes, espeically on Suicide Solution which ranks as one of my favourite all times solos.

It is Ozzy’s most successful album ever.

This is also the time when I can’t get the damn formatting to work in WordPress.

Listen to this album and your troubles will all drift away like snowflakes…

  1. Good on you, Dave. You’re showing these softies what hard rock’s all about. This is, in my estimation, a classic in my catalog. It doesn’t get played nearly as often as it did when I was in my teens (my goodness, did I wear out a bunch of cassettes in my youth!). My memories of this album seem to revolve around drives around town with my buddies in the hot summer sun, with absolutely nothing to do and nowhere to go. Oh god, were those times grand!
