The Lumineers – The Lumineers (April 2012)

TheLumineersalbumThis is The Lumineers’ self titled debut album released on the 3rd of April 2012.

It is currenly number 4 on the Spotify charts in the UK, and has a similar feel to Mumford & Sons.

The singles are Ho Hey and Stubborn Love.  I’m enjoying the whole album, and find it good to write code to

Am going to be listening to this today, and have to walk to work through the snow now.

  1. Unfortunately I think the persistent overplaying of Mumford and Sons has ruined any potential enjoyment I may have got from this album. I tried but failed 🙂

      • Yes, yes I am. I loved Little Lion Man when it came out but can’t believe how much airtime they get. I was over in Melbourne 2 weeks ago and within a 24 hour period I heard Mumford & Sons playing; on the flight, at the hotel and at the casino! I mean……cmon…….

      • Fair enough Stu. I’m pretty much over Mumford too. Tried listening to Babel yesterday but didn’t get beyond the fifth song before I got annoyed and gave up! Still kinda like the first album as haven’t thrashed it. But I agree that it is weird how many people like them. Big in America too.
